I will be glad to identify your doll and give you an approximate
value at this time. The value may be looked upon differently by
many of us, as a Market value sometimes means nothing in comparison
to sentimental value. I can only try to determine the value of
your doll due to her condition, etc., and what similar dolls have
sold for recently.
To do this I need - Please -
Several color pictures of her as
follows: (either by email or snail mail)
a. face
b. back of neck or shoulders of the "mark" if any
c. complete doll undressed, back and front
d. any damaged areas on any part of her head, torso, or limbs
Then please answer the following
questions:
a. height of doll
b. circumference of head
c. sleep eyes?
d. Does she have a wig? Of what material?
e. How many joints and where? Such as neck, shoulders, hips, etc.
elbows? Knees? Ankles? Wrists?
f. Her name? That is what name you gave her.
g. When, approximately, did you receive her? Childhood doll? Later
gift? Etc.
h. What material is she made of? (if you can determine)
i. Is her body the same material as her head and limbs?
Then in an email to you I WILL TELL
YOU -
Who made your doll - (company)
When - (approximate year)
Where - (country) Approximate value - (due to her condition and
will explain)
Approximate value if Doll was or is in Mint Condition with original
clothes and box.
I will also be glad to elaborate
and tell you of any "special items of interest" your
dolly has-such as rarity, type of material she is made from, how
long was it used for doll making, still used?, etc.
You may use PayPal for your payment
of $5.00 for the above information or send a Money Order with
the pictures by snail mail to me. Please add $1.50 if you want
the pictures returned to you.
Thank you.
